What you can use
The figures on our statistics page are published for citation. You may quote them in editorial work without asking permission, on two conditions: keep the named source and year intact, and link to this site or to the underlying primary source when you use the number online.
How to cite
A citation that will survive an editor's check:
- Name the figure and its context exactly as published here.
- Attach the source name and year from our citation line.
- Link to our statistics page or the primary source.
- Do not round, blend, or re-framework the numbers into a stronger claim.
Embedding our data
We are building embed-ready, iframe-based data cards so publications can pull a statistic onto their own page with attribution built in. Those embed handles will be announced here when they ship — the current route for a journalist is simply to link out with the citation rules above.
What journalists should know about us
- We are an education and navigation resource — not a hospital, clinic, or care provider. We never book treatments, and we never price or arrange organs.
- Everything we publish is sourced and re-checked on a schedule; corrections arrive as edits with review-date updates, not silent deletes.
- No paid placements. Our directory has no sponsored entries and we sell no links or reviews — say it plainly if someone implies otherwise.
- Interviews and quotes. We do not employ named medical spokespeople and will not pretend otherwise; for clinical commentary, direct us to the right institutions and specialists.
Corrections and fact-check requests
Use the contact page for corrections, broken sources, or fact-check requests. We treat every correction as a review trigger and say so publicly in our editorial policy.
